Teacher: North Korea Detainee Obtained Exactly What He ‘Deserved’

by Associated PressWILMINGTON, Del.– The College of Delaware is distancing itself from comments made by a complement professor after she claimed an university pupilan university student who passed away after being held by North Korea “obtained precisely just what he was worthy of.”
The Wilmington Information Journal reports that sociology professor Kathy Dettwyler stated on her individual Facebook web page that Otto Warmbier was “regular of a mindset of a lot of the young, white, rich, clueless men” she educates.
The university stated in a statement that Dettwyler’s comments do not show the institution’s values and also are “specifically upsetting.” Dettwyler declined to comment.
